Hilke attended the workshop Coptic binding and got curious: could one also make Coptic endbands in more colours than just one? She investigated the technique and concluded YES, it is possible. Click on the photo for an enlarged version.
I really REALLY enjoy it when people get inspired to go on and experiment on their own. A big thumbs up and a cheer to Hilke for taking the ancient Coptic binding a step further again – some 1600 years after it’s invention.
